The best award for this film is that it helped to strengthen the laws against deforestation in Papua New Guinea, and that Mundiya Kepanga could travel showing it in many schools in Europe and educate hundreds of children to plant trees. In some cities where Mundiya has gone to, like Arcachon, a tree is now planted every time a baby is born, and the child becomes the godfather of the tree.
